The University of Naples Federico II was the first publicly funded university in Europe, established in 1224 through an Imperial Charter of Frederick II Hohenstaufen, King of Sicily and Holy Roman Emperor. Nowadays the University offers courses in essentially all academic disciplines,leading to one hundred fifty five graduate level degrees. Research facilities provide support to all these courses. Students are given the opportunity to pursue intellectual development as well as the acquisition of professional skills. Current student enrollment nears 90,000 and the academic personnel, at this time, are 3,121.
The Department of Political Science is one of the new 26 Departments of the University of Naples Federico II. Didactics and research are inspired by a multidisciplinary approach suitable to attain a broader understanding of social questions in order to meet the contemporary challenges. The actual courses of the Department of Political Science are functional to the achievement of expertise fully matching the evolution of the socio-economic system and the labor market, enhancing qualified employment opportunities.
EUSA is a private University Center with more than 50 years of experience in Higher Education. EUSA is a center affiliated to the University of Seville and owned by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Seville. EUSA targets employability, innovation and internationalisation. All of its Study Abroad programs are part of EUSA’s official Bachelor’s degrees in Audiovisual Communication, Advertising and Public Relations, Tourism and Journalism. In addition, it has a policy oriented towards the business world and the development of entrepreneurship among students. The EUSA campus also hosts a School for Vocational Training in more than 14 fields, a Postgraduate Business School and several Language Schools.
The National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA), established in 1991 as a school of governance, trains and develops professional competencies in Political Science, Sociology, Administrative Studies, International Relations, Diplomacy, European Studies, Communication Sciences, Psychology, Management, Human Resources. The SNSPA institutional vision consists in implementing a unique relationship between academic learning and genuine change in Romania. SNSPA constantly trains Romanian elite and aims to extend this training capacity at regional level. SNSPA obtained the certification from ARACIS, as a university with a high degree of trust.
The Institute of European Studies and International Relations (UK BA) builds on the legacy of the Department of Political Science, founded in 1990 at the Comenius University. UK BA has also hosted the UNESCO Chair for human rights education. The members of UK BA have a multidisciplinary background in political science, sociology, international relations, organization studies, history, law, economics, diplomacy, and philosophy. UK BA has an active research agenda in European studies and international relations and participates in a number of international research projects and has connections with many universities throughout the world. The Institute also actively cooperates with the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs in conducting research and organizing conferences.
CENTRE FOR COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT CYPRUS (COMCY) is a non-for profit Training, Research and Development Organization, active in the field of project management, training, and education. COMCY focuses on the training and development of various target groups and sectors of the society, including youth groups and vulnerable individuals, seniors, and adults, through the participation in EU programs and initiatives, and the implementation of training and educational seminars in Cyprus and abroad.
Overall, the organization aims to support and empower vulnerable social groups, by offering various opportunities for personal and professional development. In addition, COMCY is a member of the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) and the European Network of Innovation for Inclusion.
New Tourism Institute/Zavod Novi turizem (ZNT) is a research institute that was established in 2009. Its main purpose is to create opportunities for the development of the Slovene tourism sector. The Institute operates on three pillars: strategic development, education & training, and consulting. ZNT is a non-profit organization that cooperates with proactive organizations and individuals at home and abroad who wish to develop, promote and substantiate “new, innovative tourism.” ZNT is also a part of European projects and networks.
JANUS s.r.l. is an Italian privately owned company that creates and develops innovative software applications for public and private entities, to cultural, training and education as well as business scopes. JANUS ensures the compatibility of its outputs with any kind of network (Internet, intranet and/or extranet). The services provided by the company include also graphic design and digital/multimedia production. All JANUS services are supported with assistance, technical manuals and training. Among the successful productions of JANUS, there are “AmaMusei” and “Amacittà”, consisting in integrated platform and apps based on the BAC – Beacon Access Control. Both products are being broadly used by a large number of Museums and Municipalities in Italy.
